University of the Arctic

is an international network of educational and research organizations involved in the study of the North. The aim of this network is to provide sustainable development of the circumpolar Arctic region through education and continuous exchange of knowledge. Today, more than 140 educational institutions develop cooperation within the University of the Arctic. Northern (Arctic) Federal University is one the most active member of the University of the Arctic Consortium.

Student exchange and mobility

Currently the program «Bachelor of Circumpolar Studies» is available to the students of NArFU. NArFU students can also participate in the North2North mobility program and go on exchange to any of eight Arctic countries. It is a great possibility for students not only to study abroad and get new knowledge about the Arctic, but also to see different cultures of our partners, to experience different northern regions and to create network which can be useful for their future career.
